vintage clip on earring pendant necklace / diy

inspired by the fabulous statement necklaces for sale at Anthropologie this season

what you'll need:
clip on earrings or dress clips or shoe clips
a necklace with some width -- I used a brass mesh necklace but you could use something as simple as a piece of ribbon

step 1:

open the clip on jewelry

step 2:

position clip on jewelry on necklace. I chose to place the hinged portion of the clip on jewelry at the top side of the necklace so that there is less of a chance that the clip on jewelry will slip off while you're wearing the necklace

step 3:

ready to wear and easy to modify

estate sale-ing

little mommy and I went to an awesome estate sale this morning. there were so many treasures jammed into the basement that I stood very still for a while and surveyed everything from a stationary position.

we paid for our pile o' stuff and headed for the car. we promptly realized we had lost her car keys in the ridiculous basement.

luckily, she found them.
